Description: Join our multidisciplinary team of Gymnastics Medicine experts as we explore a gymnast with growth plate injuries! We will break down the anatomy of the growth plate, review common signs and symptoms, perform a physical exam, explain diagnostic tests, and explain common growth plate injuries that occur in gymnastics. Also included are the best physical therapy and strength and conditioning exercises that you and your gymnast can do, not just for injured growth plates, but also to prevent injuries to them!
Target Audience: Gymnasts, parents, coaches.
