Description: Join our multidisciplinary team of Gymnastics Medicine experts as we explore a gymnast with Osteochondritis Dissecans (OCD) injuries! We will break down the anatomy and cause of OCD, review over common signs and symptoms, perform a physical exam, explain diagnostic tests, and explain the three most common areas that OCD can occur in the gymnast.
You will also learn about the best physical therapy and strength and conditioning exercises that you and your gymnast can do not only to treat, but also to prevent OCD!
